Start With Your budget
Creating a budget is the first and most important step in wedding planning. Determine what you can afford and allocate funds to each vendor and item accordingly. Be flexible and prioritize the aspects that are most important to you.
Create a Vision Board
Visualize your dream wedding by creating a vision board. This can be done through a Pinterest board or by creating a physical board with cutouts and pictures. Share your vision board with your wedding planner or partner so they can help bring your ideas to life.
Hire a Wedding Planner
Wedding planners are worth their weight in gold, but if that isn't in your budget, a paper planner can also be a great tool. I highly recommend "The Engagement Journal,” a guide that not only helps with wedding planning but also strengthens your relationship with your partner. I personally gift all my brides this journal as welcome gift when first booking with me, but I find it as a really useful too for planning!
Keep Everything Organized
Organization is key to avoiding stress and confusion during the planning process. Use a binder to keep all important documents, receipts, and contracts in one place. Add contact information and phone numbers for each vendor so you have everything at your fingertips.

Wedding websites are a lifesaver! Use websites like The Knot or Zola to keep track of your budget, guest list, RSVPs, and even create a registry. Add the website link to your invitations for easy access.
